Edouard Marchal

Dr Edouard Marchal

Neurologie

Dr. Edouard Marchal is originally from the east of France. He obtained his doctorate in veterinary medicine from École nationale vétérinaire d’Alfort in 2015. Curious to see what life in Quebec was like, he completed an advanced internship in applied veterinary sciences (IPSAV) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Université de Montréal in Saint-Hyacinthe in 2015–2016. This professional and personal experience convinced him to make Canada his home.

Between 2016 and 2019, Dr. Marchal completed a residency in companion animal neurology and neurosurgery at Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario. These studies led to his becoming a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) in 2021. After completing his residency, he worked for four years at a multi-specialty centre in Toronto, where he developed his skills in neuroradiology and neurosurgery.

Dr. Marchal joined the CENTREDMVET family upon his return to Quebec in November 2023. He currently practises medical neurology and neurosurgery (brain, spine, and neuromuscular) and wishes to focus on the management of epileptic patients using an electroencephalogram (EEG), as well as on the treatment of tumours and malformations of the nervous system requiring specialized neurosurgical expertise.

Dr. Marchal is available by appointment and for emergencies on Mondays at the CENTREDMVET in Montreal and from Tuesday to Thursday at the CENTREDMVET in St-Hubert.
